Thank you for your interest in RDC Clinical’s new study, to determine if a new supplement, when compared to a placebo, is effective and safe in the treatment of symptoms of allergic rhinitis. This study is examining symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as itchy nose, sneezing and nasal congestion.

You will receive a health analysis & potentially reduce your allergy symptoms.

So that we can scientifically assess the product, you would be required to take the test product in capsule form over a 2-week period and attend our clinic in Newstead, Brisbane, a total of 2 times. Additionally, you will need to record your allergy symptoms twice a day. Tests include blood analysis and health questionnaires.

You will gain information about your own health and lifestyle as a result of the tests, plus there is a possibility you will benefit from the study product… you may or may not be taking the active product, 50% of the study group will be taking a placebo (an inactive substance).

If you’d like to take part in this study, we’d love your help. More information is below, the eligibility & registration form is on this page.

This study is examining its potential effect on reducing seasonal allergy symptoms in healthy adults. The product is taken daily in capsule form. Please note, there is currently no evidence that this supplement (PEA) is beneficial in humans with rhinitis or allergic disease.

The study will involve approximately 156 men & women, each participating for a 3-week period. The first week will involve tracking your allergy symptoms while not on any product. The following two weeks will involve tracking your allergy symptoms while taking the Study Product.

Once enrolled in the trial, you’ll undergo assessments including blood tests and questionnaires regarding your general health and allergy symptoms. The same assessment will also occur at the end of the study.

On commencement of the study you’ll be given the test product to take in capsule form.

During the 3-week study, there are two visits required to our clinic in Newstead, Brisbane. Once at the commencement of the study, and then at the end (week 3).
